Meet Agel’s Newest Diamond Directors – Maria Tavares and Pepe Moura

It didn’t take long for Maria Tavares and Pepe Moura to see the Agel opportunity. When presented with the business plan by their sponsor Bruno Grilo, they decided to enroll as members on the spot and began building their own team right away. And four months later, they are reaping the rewards and being honored as Agel’s newest Diamond Directors.

For them, Agel represents more than just a great way to supplement their income; it represents a standard of living that they have longed for.

A self-described ìnormal couple,î Maria and Pepe are far from ordinary. Pepe is a former model who now owns an events company. Maria has worked the past seven years at a market research companyÖuntil recently, when she found Agel.

ìTo me, Agel represents something very powerful; it represents progress and health,î said Maria. ìIt also means working with friends and family ó all fantastic people.î

Even more so, to Maria and Pepe, Agel means financial independence and more time to spend with their young son, Paquitos, which is a dream come true.

After joining Agel in August 2007 they worked quickly to reach the rank of Senior Director, at which time they began pursing the business full time.

Their sponsor and mentor Bruno Grilo, who is also their brother-in-law, describes Pepe and Maria’s team as strong and well informed, due to the outstanding training provided by the couple.

ìPepe is well respected in his circle of friends and family and has an easy personality,î said Bruno. ìAnd Maria is very consistent in terms of work. They work well together and are two of many Diamond Directors that are sure to come out of Portugal.î

The common thread in Maria and Pepe’s group is family and they work hard to build a culture founded on that theme. They often refer to their downline as sons and daughters, grandsons and granddaughters, cousins, nephews and nieces, working together as a strong family unit to support and uplift each other.

According to the Regional Vice President of the European Union Howard Hannemann, Maria and Pepe are fully committed to the success of their team members, which is evident in the many Directors and Managers in their team.

ìIt is not enough to just enroll people in the Agel business,î said Howard. ìYou must be willing to devote yourself to their training and nurture them as they come to learn the business. Maria and Pepe are shining examples of how to do this.î

Maria and Pepe work their Agel business very hard and always together. They approach the business as a unified front, however, when making contacts they play to their strengths and try to divide and conquer. Often times, as Maria is conducting an ABB in one town, Pepe can be found in another, holding a PBR or special training.

Next stop for them is sure to be Double Diamond, however, their goals reach beyond their own rank advancement. They wish to see more leaders in their team and with that, more Diamond Directors from Portugal.
